So I bet you thought I was about to say something dirty ;)
What I was going to say is that its been a while since I've written in my blog. SLS has continued to keep me busy, but I can't complain in the slightest. Over the past few months, a lot has happened. Very good things, and I'm excited to see my company grow even more.
Christmas kept us pretty busy with an overwhelming amount of orders, US customs delays and such. I'd like to personally apologize to any of the SLS gentlemen (and ladies) who were inconvenienced by this. It is our goal to have your custom manufactured orders shipped to you in a timely manner. However, most of customers were very happy...which makes me super happy.
I was then asked to participate in LA Fashion week...which was AWESOME! The show was presented by the students of the Art Institute of Hollywood fashion production class on March 10, 2012 at the LA Exchange downtown. Although I was unable to attend due to prior engagements, all reports told me that the show went VERY well, had much success and also provided great feedback for SLS. The show featured several big name companies as well as local designers. You'll find a fantastic video of the project as well as a link to a blog review of the evening in Downtown LA:
